Free Health and Food Lessons for Kids

Health habits form early and then run on autopilot for decades. Handwashing, brushing and a sensible plate are worth teaching properly once rather than nagging about repeatedly.
These 28 lessons cover hygiene, teeth, food groups, exercise, rest, first aid basics and how the body works, in plain language a young child can act on.

Where the message usually fails
- Instructions arrive without reasons, so a child complies while an adult watches and stops when they do not.
- Food advice is often written for a different diet, and a child cannot map it onto what is actually served at home.
- Fear based framing backfires. Children respond better to what a habit lets them do than to what it prevents.
Attach one habit to something that already happens
Tie a new habit to an existing routine: hands before dinner, teeth after the bedtime story. Attaching it to a fixed point works better than adding a new slot.
Explain the reason once, in a sentence a child can repeat. Being able to say why makes the habit survive when nobody is watching.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Are these health lessons free?
Yes, with no subscription and no ads.
What do they cover?
Handwashing and hygiene, teeth, food groups and balanced meals, exercise, sleep, safety, and how the body works, across seven levels.
Is the food guidance suitable for a South Asian diet?
Yes. The food lessons use everyday examples rather than a fixed national food chart, so they map onto what is actually eaten at home.
