See how a lesson works

Every lesson runs the same way, whichever subject or grade it is. You start on an intro screen where you pick a difficulty level, then a quick recap explains the idea in a line or two. After that come the real questions, one at a time, with a progress bar across the top showing how many are left. When the last question is answered, a results screen shows your score and stars, and if you missed anything, a review lists the correct answer for each one so nothing is left unexplained.

Every lesson offers three levels: Explorer for a gentle start with more picture clues, Challenger set at grade level, and Champion for a real stretch. You can change levels any time. Stars come from how many questions you get right on the first try: three stars for 90 percent or more, two for 70 percent, one for 40 percent, and only your first attempt at each question counts, so a hint or a second guess never inflates the score.
