What the Grade 5 Islamic Studies course covers
The articles of faith are set out here, alongside the etiquette of handling and reciting the Quran. The Islamic calendar and its months are introduced, and the course closes on everyday adab and cleanliness.
The Grade 5 Islamic Studies course is two units, taken in order: Faith and the Quran and Life and Manners.
The course runs to 4 numbered lessons and 32 written questions, around 24 minutes of teaching. Most families take it over a few weeks. Each attempt draws a different set of questions, so repeating a lesson is practice rather than recall of the answer order.
