Grade 5 Courses: The Year Before Middle School
Grade 5 is a consolidation year with a purpose. Almost everything here is a skill that middle school will assume is already fluent, which makes the gaps expensive to leave.
The lessons are longer at this level, ten questions rather than six, and the presentation drops the mascot and the auto-narration that younger levels rely on.

- General Knowledge is not a separate subject from Grade 4. Its material splits into Science and Pakistan Studies, which is how the national curriculum handles it.

Where Grade 5 gaps come from
- Decimals and fractions are the same idea in two notations, and a child who learned them as separate topics will convert badly under pressure.
- Order of operations is a rule, not a concept, and it is usually taught too quickly to stick. It is worth over-practising.
- Area and perimeter get confused because both are answered with a number and a shape. Doing them together, deliberately, is what separates them.
Questions parents ask
- Does the app still narrate everything at this level?
- No. Automatic narration is off at Grade 5 and the read-aloud button is there when it is wanted.
- How long is a Grade 5 lesson?
- Ten questions, which is roughly five to ten minutes depending on the subject.
- Is there a way to revise weak topics?
- Yes. Questions answered wrongly are weighted to come back in later attempts of the same lesson.
