What the Grade 4 Islamic Studies course covers
This course is worship in practice: the five daily prayers by name and time, and what getting ready for salah actually involves. Character is given equal weight, with honesty, respect for parents, kindness to neighbours and charity.
The Grade 4 Islamic Studies course is two units, taken in order: Worship in Practice and Character and Community.
The course runs to 4 numbered lessons and 32 written questions, around 24 minutes of teaching. Most families take it over a few weeks. Each attempt draws a different set of questions, so repeating a lesson is practice rather than recall of the answer order.
This is step 6 of 7 in Islamic Studies. Nothing is locked, so if these lessons are easy the next grade is one tap away, and if they are hard the grade below is too.
How Islamic Studies is taught here
Islamic studies moves from belief, to practice, to the manners that come out of both. Children meet the pillars, the daily prayers and short surahs, alongside the everyday adab of greeting, eating, speaking truthfully and treating people well.
How Islamic Studies runs from playgroup to Grade 5 sets out the full sequence and where this course sits in it.
Levels and scoring
Each lesson plays at Explorer, Challenger or Champion. Only first-try answers count towards stars, so a retry never inflates a score, and a lesson is mastered at 90 percent at Challenger or above. See how a lesson works for the full explanation.
Questions parents ask
How long does the Grade 4 Islamic Studies course take?

What age is Grade 4 Islamic Studies for?
Ages 8 to 9 is the guide, but go by what your child can already do rather than by age. Nothing is locked for a visitor, so trying the level above or below costs nothing and takes one tap.

Yes, and without the usual catch. No account is needed, there is no advertising and there are no in-app purchases. It also works with no connection once the site is added to a home screen, or through the free Android app.
Are there any images of the Prophet or of people in these lessons?
No. Nothing in this subject depicts the Prophet, peace be upon him, or any of the companions, and the illustrations avoid depicting people in religious scenes entirely.
