Nine year olds can be taught almost anything if the explanation is good enough. The limit is rarely the idea, it is the vocabulary the idea arrives wrapped in.
This is the last stage covered here, and it is the one where a child can genuinely work alone. That makes the parent's job different: less sitting alongside, more checking what was actually understood.

Two levels fit this age
Children of the same age sit across two levels, and the right one is often different from subject to subject. Nothing is locked, so try both.
What nine year olds need that eight year olds did not
- A reason. Nine is old enough to ask why a topic matters and to disengage if the answer is unconvincing.
- Precision in language. Words like factor, product, noun and verb carry exact meanings now, and a vague grasp of the word blocks the concept.
- Harder failure. A nine year old who gets something wrong often stops rather than retries, so a level they can succeed at matters more than it did at six.

A week that works at nine
- 1Three or four sessions of twenty to twenty five minutes, chosen by the child where possible.
- 2Push to the third difficulty level rather than doing more lessons at the first. Depth is the win at this age, not coverage.

- What comes after Grade 5 here?
- Grade 5 is the top level on this site, aimed at nine and ten year olds. A child who finishes it comfortably is ready for material beyond what is published here.
- My 9 year old says the lessons are too easy. What should I do?
- Move to the third difficulty level first, then to the next grade for that subject. A lesson that feels easy at level one is usually not easy at level three, because the questions are generated rather than fixed.
- Is the content bilingual at this level too?
- Yes. Every lesson has an Urdu version in script, including the upper grades, and the Urdu subject itself runs the full sequence to Grade 5.
