What the Grade 4 Science course covers
This course is about classification and change. Animals are sorted into groups by shared features, plant parts are tied to how a plant makes food, states of matter are examined as changes rather than labels, and simple circuits join light and sound.
The Grade 4 Science course is two units, taken in order: Living Things and Matter and Energy.
The course runs to 4 numbered lessons and 36 written questions, around 20 minutes of teaching. Most families take it over a few weeks. Each attempt draws a different set of questions, so repeating a lesson is practice rather than recall of the answer order.

How Science is taught here
Science is taught as observe, sort, then explain. Children first notice what something does, then group things that behave alike, and only then meet the word that names the rule. The explanation arrives last on purpose, because a definition learned before the observation is just a phrase.
