What the Grade 4 Pakistan Studies course covers

Provinces, capitals and big cities are consolidated, then rivers, mountains and climate tie the map to how people live. The Pakistan Movement is covered as events and people, and the course ends on national symbols and institutions.

The Grade 4 Pakistan Studies course is two units, taken in order: Our Country and Our History and Symbols.

The course runs to 4 numbered lessons and 32 written questions, around 21 minutes of teaching. Most families take it over a few weeks. Each attempt draws a different set of questions, so repeating a lesson is practice rather than recall of the answer order.

This is step 5 of 6 in Pakistan Studies. Nothing is locked, so if these lessons are easy the next grade is one tap away, and if they are hard the grade below is too.

How Pakistan Studies is taught here

Pakistan studies begins with the things a child already sees, the flag, the anthem and the national symbols, then moves outward to the provinces, the landscape and the cities, and finally to how the country came to exist and who brought it about.

How Pakistan Studies runs from playgroup to Grade 5 sets out the full sequence and where this course sits in it.

Levels and scoring

Each lesson plays at Explorer, Challenger or Champion. Only first-try answers count towards stars, so a retry never inflates a score, and a lesson is mastered at 90 percent at Challenger or above. See how a lesson works for the full explanation.
